Tarleton Rugby Club is proud to announce Queenscourt Hospice as our chosen charity partner for the 2026/27 season.
Queenscourt Hospice has been providing exceptional specialist palliative care for people across Southport, Formby and West Lancashire for more than 30 years. Their incredible team supports patients living with life-limiting illnesses, both in the hospice and in their own homes, while also providing vital emotional and practical support to families and loved ones when they need it most. Last year alone, they cared for over 2,000 local people, with four out of every five patients receiving care in the comfort of their own home.
For Tarleton Rugby Club, this partnership is also deeply personal.
Queenscourt cared for one of our founding members, the late Hugh Paterson, and the compassion shown to Hugh and his family has never been forgotten. It is one of the many reasons the hospice remains so close to the hearts of everyone connected with our Club.
As a community club, we are striving to make sure our responsibility extends far beyond the rugby pitch. Supporting organisations that make a genuine difference to local people is central to who we are and what One Badge. One Club. represents.
Throughout the season, our players, members, volunteers, sponsors and supporters will be encouraged to raise funds through a variety of Club events and initiatives. While we know our contribution will only be a small part of the incredible work Queenscourt carries out every day, we hope it will help them continue delivering outstanding care, dignity and support to local families at the moments they need it most.
We look forward to working alongside everyone at Queenscourt Hospice throughout the season and hope the entire Tarleton Rugby family will get behind this fantastic local charity. Together, we can make a real difference.
